Peony rainbows is : - a little compagny, by `one owner leader` - mail order - workers, - when needed - in the seasons, mostly fall - own production garden - not exhibition or to pick up place here. - one piece of land borrowed of a friend , for production of plugs and seedplants - one piece of land, rented, for production of cutflower peonies Our purpose is : - to spread the knowing of peonies, and to grow them myself to learn about them and make them avaiable from own plants. - to grow the Peony species from seeds, and buy grown up plants for selling and learning - to make as much as possible people enjoying the peonies, that are avaiable today ( 3 - 4000 peonies and 2 - 3000 treepeonies ) - to make the peony as know and used as roses are , and built an `Peoniery `- an exhibition garden, so it is possible for visiters to see the peonies in flower in beds with their relatives and company plants. - to spread the knowing of peonies, also as cutflowers. Our activities is then : - Every year to buy as much as possible of different peonies so we have a representative sortiment, and to grow them and make them cheaper to buy, by dividing them every 3 - 4 year, and grow them on. - to make internet sites and cataloges, every spring for peonies from New Zealand and Australien - and every fall by : USA mosly , they propagate the last new peonies , but also from rest of Europa, from : Holland - France - Østrig - Sweden - Italy - U.K. - and Belgia - to hold speaks and join markeds , where we can show and tell about , peonies - to built a cutflower production of peonies , and sell and show the peonies as cutted and how to use them, store them and care for them.
Praktical : When this nursery is so little, that it is still not possibel to live of it , i also have a little compagny where i make cleaning, so i will not bee at my office the whole day, if not - try the mobil number, og leave your message on the answering machine. We ar not able to have visiters here, or sale by our door ,because we life in a protectet habitat, and have no place for parking , beside our garden is filled with pots and working material, for production and do not show the beautiful peonies in a exhibited way. When our field of cutflower peonies is a little more mature, it will be possibel to visit us there, in the flowering season - until them, you canm meet us, at our exhibitions every year, at the may marked, at Løndal gods, se information for exhibition.
